Overview: To assist in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of hotel premises, ensuring a pleasant and positive guest experience by managing linen and cleaning tasks.
Job Responsibilities:
- Clean rooms as needed, including hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
- Abide by the regulations set forth by the material safety data sheets when using chemicals.
- Move and arrange furniture, dust, and polish furniture, metalwork, and equipment.
- Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors using brooms, mops, and powered machinery. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies with a vacuum cleaner.
- Collect soiled linens for laundering and store clean linens in the linen closet.
- Clean bathrooms and replenish supplies as needed.
- Restock rooms with necessary supplies (towels, etc.) and prepare the cleaning cart with appropriate supplies for the shift.
- Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empty wastebaskets and clean ashtrays; transport trash to disposal areas.
- Greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
- 11. Handle all requests for luggage assistance in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner.
- 12. Handle items for "Lost and Found" according to hotel standards.
- 13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial work is a plus, but not required.
